About Patricia Gardener:

Patricia currently teaches a wide variety of sewing, design, and craft classes at her spacious Birch Haven Design studio located in Stratham, NH. She offers group and private lessons with day, evening, and weekend availability. She is passionate about ensuring students of all skill levels have a fun and productive hands-on experience in her crafts, sewing, and design classes.

Patricia studied bridal design, pattern drafting, and sewn product prototype development and manufacturing at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She has operated her business designing and constructing exclusive couture wedding dresses and teaching sewing, design, and crafts to students in the United States and abroad for over 30 years. In addition to her passion for teaching, Patricia served as a sewing subject matter expert at The Smithsonian Institution and the National Theater in Washington, D.C. She also developed manufacturing prototypes of special adaptive clothing for children with unique medical/physical needs and wounded military personnel undergoing treatment at Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
